Region 4-3 Recruit Training Staff Cadet Session

NSCC Region 4-3, with NSC NHQ support, is hosting a special weekend course to better prepare cadets to staff at RT and other trainings.  Course will focus on developing and/or enhancing basic leadership skills and abilities embracing concepts of coaching, mentoring, and 100% goal achievement.  Staff cadet role and responsibility for mentoring and taking care of, and developing, their cadets through quality leadership vs use of demeaning (or hazing) behaviors will be taught.  Course will re-emphasize and confirm NSCC zero tolerance policy regarding demeaning and hazing behaviors.

This is a pilot course, where proposed curriculum will be further developed for national use based upon cadet and escort participation.  For those who wish to be plank owner for this new course, details follow. 

Dates: 18-20May
Costs:  Transportation only to and from.  Berthing and messing will be provided for.
Quotas: 30 (Including Officers) M or F for students only.  Staff is established.
Location: Ft. Dix NJ
Cadets/Officers will Report 1900 on 18 May, completion at 1600 20 May

Call POC’s first for quota and /or additional detail.  Once quota is approved, use local orders.  Cadet advancement credit not authorized as this training falls short of ATM requirements.
